Cllr Robert Cunliffe is campaigning to make Christchurch Gardens safe. The opportunity for vandalism, graffiti and anti-social behaviour is of immediate concern. Overgrown trees render the gardens uninviting especially as daylight fades.

Your LibDem councillors have led the Town Council into talks with Warwick District Council. A

programme of work has already been agreed as to how Christchurch Gardens can be made into the attractive entrance to Leamington that it should be.

Significant improvements have resulted in the tennis court gates being repaired and some repair

to tarmac on the footpaths particularly at the rear entrance to the tennis courts; pruning and

thinning out of bushes has been started; three diseased trees have been cut down following the collapse of branches onto footpaths.

We welcome the views of the public and consultation with interested groups has now begun to introduce additional features.
