Lib-Dem Councillors Eithne Goode & Sarah Boad on the new Flexibus

A proposal from your Liberal Democrat county councillors has led to the purchase and operation of five new flexibus vehicles in Warwickshire to bring independence to the most isolated people.

These specially adapted vehicles can "kneel down" at the front to enable disabled access and they are all fitted with seatbelts The new flexibus is being used to provide the new 69 service.

The first bus leaves Crown Way at 9.21 a.m., travelling up Gresham Avenue to the Shires Retail Park via the Parade. Full details can be found on www.warwickshire.gov.uk or on the bus stops on the route. Cllr Sarah Boad welcomed the return of a bus service to Gresham Avenue as a good improvement to the bus service locally.
